Dr Amit Sharma
BDS, MClinDent (Oral Surgery)
Dr. Amit Sharma is a highly accomplished general dentist with decades of experience delivering exceptional dental care to patients of all ages. With a strong foundation in clinical excellence, he holds a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Oral Surgery from Griffith University, Gold Coast, QLD, graduating with distinction—a testament to his dedication and advanced skill in the field.
More than 25 years of experience, Dr Amit speaks English, Hindi, and Punjabi, making it easier for patients from diverse backgrounds to communicate comfortably and confidently during their consultations.
Dr. Amit has developed extensive surgical expertise, particularly in the areas of wisdom teeth removal, dental implant surgery, and a wide range of minor oral surgery procedures. His precision, calm approach, and patient-focused care have earned him a reputation for delivering safe, effective surgical outcomes with minimal discomfort.
He remains deeply engaged in the dental community as a member of the Australian Dental Association and the International Team for Implantology (ITI), and he is an affiliated member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. These affiliations reflect his commitment to professional development and clinical excellence.
Known for his compassionate manner and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Amit is passionate about helping patients achieve both functional and aesthetic oral health outcomes. Outside the clinic, he enjoys travelling, spending time with his family and dogs Cozmo & Enzo, and following soccer and cricket.
Dr Neetu Sharma

Dr Neetu Sharma is the principal dentist and founder of Ashmore Smiles.
Dr Neetu Sharma completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001 in India and started her own practice in her hometown. After successfully running her dental clinic for almost 10 years, she decided to migrate to Australia with her family in 2013.She cleared her Australian Dental Council Examination and started working as general dentist in Port Macquarie -NSW. She worked in private & public clinics in Port Macquarie region for more than 7 years.
Being a dentist with more than two decades of experience, Dr Neetu is considerate and empathetic. She holds a strong conviction that each patient should receive the same level of attention and care as a member of one’s own family. Her commitment to assisting her clients in achieving optimal oral health is evident through her skilful hearing, individualised treatment, and friendly environment.
Neetu ensures that throughout the course of treatment, each patient is treated with the utmost compassion, regard, and care. These are the guiding principles of our clinic
Dr Sharma has an extensive professional background and a profound understanding of all aspects of general dentistry, with a special interest in root canal procedures and cosmetic dentistry. She ensures that her clinical expertise and knowledge remain up-to-date by actively engaging in a diverse range of professional development courses. Due to her fluency in four languages—English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu—Dr Sharma can effortlessly engage in communication with patients in their native tongue, should they choose to do so.
Dr Neetu Sharma is a member of Australian Dental Association.
When not attending to patients at the clinic, Neetu enjoys spending quality time with her family, tending to her garden, and caring for her home. She also loves taking long walks with her dogs, Cozmo and Enzo, making the most of the outdoors and family time together.

Dr Apanjit Kaur
BDS
Dr Apanjit Kaur is a caring and compassionate general dentist at Ashmore Smiles Dental, committed to providing gentle, high-quality dental care in a warm and comfortable environment. She takes the time to understand each patient’s needs and helps them feel relaxed and confident throughout their treatment.
Dr Kaur has a special interest in comprehensive check-ups and cleans, children’s dentistry, aesthetic dentistry and crowns. She has also completed a Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry, supporting her focus on achieving healthy, functional and natural-looking smiles.
Dr Kaur completed her dental training at Baba Farid University and successfully completed the Australian Dental Council examinations in 2022. She has been practising on the Gold Coast since then and has also worked as a mobile dentist providing care to aged-care residents.
She enjoys working and building meaningful relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds. Dr Kaur speaks English, Punjabi and Hindi. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys travelling and spending time at the beach.
For Dr Kaur, one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry is relieving pain, improving smiles and helping patients feel healthier and more confident.
Kelly
Senior Dental Nurse
Kelly is our practice manager/coordinator and maintains her position as senior dental nurse. She has worked in the dental industry for more than 7 years. She is highly organized, professional & caring person who understand the need to work effectively as a part of dental team.
Kelly likes to interact with patients of all age groups although loves to chat with old patients and meet new ones. When not at work she spends her time in the garden and hanging out with her dog, Luna.
Kristy
Dental Assistant
Kristy has worked as a dental assistant for more than 10 years and is a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in patient care, sterilisation, and inventory management.
She has assisted with a wide range of dental procedures, including root canal treatments, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and clear aligner therapy. Kristy is passionate about caring for patients and enjoys helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles in a comfortable and supportive environment. Her gentle, friendly, and reassuring nature helps children feel relaxed and comfortable during their dental visits, making every appointment a positive experience for young patients and their families.
Outside of work, Kristy loves spending time with her family and her dog. She also enjoys fishing on weekends and making the most of the outdoors.
Roxy
Dental Assistant
Roxy has more than four years of experience as a dental assistant and is known for her caring, compassionate, and friendly nature. She is passionate about making every patient feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit, with a special talent for helping children feel relaxed and at ease in the dental chair.
She is experienced in assisting with all types of dental treatments and takes great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sterilisation, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both patients and the dental team. Roxy is also a quick learner who is always eager to expand her skills and knowledge.
Before beginning her career in dentistry, Roxy worked in a café and had dreams of becoming a chef. Her love for customer service and helping people naturally led her to a career in dental assisting, where she found her true passion.
Outside of work, Roxy enjoys spending quality time with her family and her little daughter, Bella, creating special memories together.
Megan
Dental Receptionist & Assistant
Megan is a young, talented and caring member of our dental team, bringing more than one year of experience in dental reception and assisting. She is a quick learner who approaches every task with enthusiasm, care and a positive attitude.
Known for her gentle and friendly manner, Megan makes patients feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment they walk through our doors. She is naturally empathetic and genuinely cares about making each patient’s experience as smooth and pleasant as possible.
Outside the clinic, Megan also works as a barista, where her friendly personality and attention to detail shine. She loves dogs, enjoys playing golf and exploring new places. She takes pride in keeping everything clean, organised and well-presented—both at work and in everyday life.
We are delighted to have Megan as part of our team and know that her caring nature, willingness to learn and dedication to our patients make her a wonderful addition to our clinic.
